rear hatch wont open again

hello i bought my car like 50 days ago +-
the same day i bought it my rear hatch quit working

i let an electrician mechanic to look on it 4 hours he couldn't find the problem
few weeks after i changed alternator because he quit working
and then he start working again (idk if it was just coincidence)

now i closed it. it made a sound of locking it normal
and didn't open again

what can i do please?

What ultimately worked for me the last time was to unhook the negative battery terminal for a few minutes then do the driver side lock/unlock 3 times. That was after the other tricks failing this time.

There are other things to try that had worked for me prior to them failing. Such as.....
-lock and unlock doors on the driver side 3 times and it worked a few times
-Disconnect battery for a few minutes, then try the tricks again if that didn’t do it
-Disconnect the ECU for it. It is the blue harness behind the panel on rear gate
-There are a couple more that I’m not recalling currently

If anything is going to do it, it would be the ECU disconnect or rear window down/up and hold

When you press the latch release are you getting anY sound? Simple issue I’ve seen is just push hard against it and make sure it’s all the way closed. If that doesn’t work then start going down all the other possible issues
