Rear left turn signal not working.

Returned from vacation and my left rear turn signal is not working. I bought new bulbs and replaced the rear one and when I turn the blinker on it still blinks fast and doesn't light up in the back.. I switched out the rear right bulb and stuck it in the left and the same thing happens. Any thoughts? Perhaps the adapter that the bulb sits in?

Have you tried a test light to see if power is there?

Check the bulb socket to make sure its fine, sounds like a loose pin on the tail light socket or bulb holder.
