Rear plastidip update

I've been gone for a while sorry about it. I'd figure I'd give you an update though

I folded and took the plastidip off the back on everything except the letters and logo. So now all the chrome on my 4Runner is black. I'm still not sure if I like just the letters or the entire bezel but I figured I'd give you a pic if you were trying to figure out what you wanted to do

I played around with just doing my letters instead of blacking out the whole piece like most do. Might try some other color-combos in the future...

black out the whole thing. mine is full on chrome and its the worst PITA to clean between the letters.

its at the point where I just want to replace the whole thing with a SR5 prem replacement color matched.

I want to do the same thing to my letters and logo(plasti-dip), did you have to tape off or are they removable? if removable, how easy were they to remove?

4Runner4TA- You don't have to remove the letters and the masking is simple. Plasti-dip is not like typical paint, it is removable. Best advise is go over to YouTube and search "dipyourcar". Watch a few of the videos and get a better idea of what plasti-dip is. Once you understand the product, spraying the rear garnish is a pretty simple project.

Curious if anyone's removed the rear hatch lettering all together. For a different look.
