Rear speaker upgrade ( Need wiring diagram)

I own a 19 ORP without JBL. I installed a new headunit ( Kenwood DMX905S) and I installed my custom made front component without running an amp for now. I will install the amps later this year. For now on , my front set up is amazing but the rear fill sound shitty. I installed soundproofing on my frond and rear door and installed new 6.5 on my rear door that I had from my previous car. They really don't sound like they used to sound. Pretty sure it's about impedence related to rear tail speakers. I did try to unplug my rear tail speaker but when I do this it cut the power to my rear door speaker. Anyone have the wiring diagram ? It's probably wired in series but I want ton make sure before jumping those wires.

Here is my current set up so far:
Dmx905s Headunit
Front tweeter : Scan-speak D2905
Crossover : Custom made by Solen
Front Mid woofer : Peerless XLS
Rear door: Nakamichi 6.5
Tail : Stock for now.

I'm planning to install my zapco amps with dsp after the summer since I'm short on spare time for now but I want better sound coming off my Nak. I know how they can sound and I know they are not at their full potential. Anyone know how to bypass the tail speakers ?

The rear door speakers and hatch speakers are 4-ohm speakers wired in series. There are instructions in one of [MENTION=83083]rigtec[/MENTION]'s posts of how to bypass the hatch speakers. I followed those instructions. and everything works fine. The result is only the rear door speakers work, and they're now being fed 8 ohms rather than 4 ohms. Basically, you access the hatch speaker wiring by removing the lights on the interior of the hatch, unplug the harness from the speakers, and install a home-made jumper in the harness. There is no need to remove the entire hatch panel. It takes less than 5 minutes. Consult [MENTION=83083]rigtec[/MENTION]'s post for more detail.

"Long-time-no-C" Bro! It was nice reading you post above; didn't know/rmbr that you changed your speaker set-up, just glad that you achieved the result that you were after!:yo: I'll post the speaker wiring diagram that you mentioned... but I know that there're differences just because the OP doesn't have the "Party-mode system" in a 2019 4Runner.

But at some point, the wiring IS the same (still 'in series' in the rear)! Great hearing from you again brother! 'Best to you',

Here's a close representation of the wiring diagram that you've requested. They are different because from 2010 to 1013 there was a relay pack (controlled by "The Party-mode Button"), that would alter/manipulate the wiring in the rear (second row and cargo area) to run the tailgate speakers at 4ohms for an unnoticeable increase of low frequency sound in the cargo area; a pure waste of engineering time for the end result!

I'm using pretty substantial subs in the cargo area so I couldn't here the tailgate speakers anyway. So I disconnected them, and now can run the second row at 4ohms for a FULL OUTPUT of 20W from the HU where it can be more useful! Here is the wiring prints:>> The "Party mode" tweak! The best fix would be....

Change the wiring from series to parallel...after you add your amp. You would need to run new wire pairs to the door speakers from the amp and then twist the existing speaker wires in the door together. This would greatly increase the power to all 4 rear speakers.
