Rear TailGate and Supercharger q's

Hi everyone,

after owning her for almost 13 years.. the rear tail gate lifts are getting pretty worn down.... every time I open it, I have to give it alittle more push to have it fully extended..

my question is, does anyone have the part's number for the lifts(shocks) for it?

is it tokico? or ?

another question,

what would I need do run an supercharger efficiently? aside from the pulleys, 7th injectors?

Can't help you on the shocks, but not sure adding a supercharger this late in the life of the engine is a good idea. Ignoring that it'll cost you a couple grand just in parts, the added pressures a SC adds can definitely cause problems in an old engine.

I wouldnt worry about putting a blower on it no matter what the miles are if its been well maintained. One of my last 4runners had 230k on it with a supercharger and several friends have 3.4's with 200k+ miles on them with superchargers and they run amazing. My current ride is hopefully getting one soon and it has 203k on it right now. Just throw supra injectors a walbro fuel pump and some sort of tuner/timing box on it and itll run forever.

Supercharger: URD 7th kit has pretty much everything you need. Be prepared to spend the dough. My S/C has totaled nearly $2.5k so far and I installed myself. I still need to spend another couple hundred on extra final tuning supplies (wideband A/F, boost gauge, maybe a dyno run.)
