Rear Wheel Bearings

At nearly 200k I have the dreaded hummmmmm coming from my passenger rear wheel. Considering the mileage and that I want to keep this truck for a long time, and since my CV axle boots are shot (I've got OEM replacements on the shelf waiting to go in) so I'll be disassembling the front end anyway I'll probably do bearings all the way around. I can find a lot of info here on which front hub assemblies and DIY how tos, but not so much on the rears. Also, it seems general consensus is Timken bearings are the way to go on the front, I assume the same holds true for the rears?

Searching on rockauto it appears the Timken HA590050 and HA594246 are the correct right and lefts in the back.

Any DIY how to's out there? I found a couple vids on youtube but they are kind of crap and I also like a good written layout. I do have a Haynes manual for reference also.

I was looking into this a while back. My problem ended up being something else but here is the best write up I found:

Just a heads up, unless you have a press, you will have to take your axle to a machine shop to have them press off the old bearings and press the new one on.

As far as the bearings go, you will probably be fine with another brand but personally I would spend a little more for the Timken for the peace of mind.

Is that true? It seems all the sellers that sell wheel hub assemblies use Koyo bearings, but I guess you can't go wrong with either. Also, there's a tutorial on Youtube for an FJ Cruiser to change the rear wheel bearings. Process should be similar.
