rear window does not work

My wife took the runner and mistakenly hit the bottom button on the remote starter and the rear window went down. When she tried to hit the button on the remote the window would not go up. The rear window would not go up with the the buttons on the dashboard either. I was able to get the window closed by placing the key into the back tailgate and turning it. I went inside the car and the buttons on the dashboard will not work and open the window again. The only way I can get the rear window open and close now is with the key in the tailgate. Has this happened to anyone before?Is there something I am missing?

I had the same oh shit moment when I bought my 4runner. The window lock was on.

If the window works with the key in the back, it's more than likely the window lock button.

yeah, I wrote this and went to the dump and then saw the window lock button and sure enough it works now

Wow--this place never ceases to amaze me. I was about to tear my dash apart to access the switch. It had not even occurred to me that I might have inadvertently hit the window lock button. I really appreciate this forum.
