Rear Window Not Working

hi guys, i have a problem with my rear window. it goes down but will not go up, i have had an auto electrician look at it but he didnt have much time, it went up using some sort of switch tool that he had but it wont work with either the key or the switch inside.
any thoughts? cheers

I am not sure about the key issue but I had the same problem. Replaced the switch and it started working fine. Also if it is not going up it maybe a sensor issue that is inside the tailgate.

I had this same problem yesterday. If you pull the switch, you can force it to go up by connecting the two contacts on the end. I think there are six. Touch the two together on one end and it should go up, the two on the other end and it will go down.

For some reason after I did this my switch started working again but I'm sure if you replace the switch that will help as well.
