Whats up T4R fam! I'm a long time creeper here, but just became a member today!
I've seen several posts on here about the rear window and rear wiper relationship, but havent quite seen my exact senario. Hoping someone can help out.
My rear window will work perfectly up and down UNTIL i attempt to use the rear wiper. When i turn the rear wiper on, it doesnt work, but the wiper motor gives a little twitch and i can hear it getting power. The wiper remains in the wiper dock, and it just gives a little flinch every time it should be giving a full stroke across the window.
This is where i know the problem happens. After the wiper fails to do its job, i think it sends a signal that says it hasnt returned to the dock (possibly?). So not only does my rear wiper not work, but it then disables my rear window from rolling down.
I can disconnect/reconnect my battery and then my rear window will roll down again. Basically resetting the message to the computer about the defective wiper i assume.
This makes me think its probably a relay. Any thoughts?
Also, if that is the case, would replacing said relay also allow my wiper to take its full motion or is that another mechanical issue?
