Rear wiper and rear defroster does not work

The rear defroster does not come on when I press the button, no light comes on. The rear wiper has also stopped working. Is this a fuse or something related to both being out?

try rolling your rear window all the way down and then back up again...then see if it works. if the rear window is cracked a little bit, it may not work.

Check if one of the fuses did not pop.

Did by any chance you get a car starter installed? When I did none of the two work for a day and next day all was fine. This was strange.

You were right the window needed to be opened and closed all the way. I do not remember opening it since the summer but than again I havent needed the wiper or rear defrost until now either. Thanks again.
