Recommendation on running boards please

Deezee NXC running boards. Quite a few people have them on here including myself.
My wife and I own a 2010 BP Limited and we bought a set of running boards from Dee Zee (NX Series). I forget the name of the online store we bought them from, but I recall paying around $400 total. I opted to not get the OEM boards because the limited toe space, as reported by many owners. The Dee Zee boards have ample toe space and there is even a tad bit of adjustability (forward, backward, in and out). Installation was a snap and they are holding up well...your seats will thank you because they take less abuse with the addition of the boards.
I recall needing to order the brackets in addition to the boards; however, it appears as though some suppliers are now bundling these together as a package.

The Dee Zee running boards are probably the best ones in terms of functionality and looks. I have the OEM running boards and if I knew that Dee Zee made these, I would have bought them instead of the OEM. Like jrhart said, the OEM ones really don't provide much space for your feet. You might be able to get about 3-3.5 inches on there and thats about it. Even after adjusting the OEM boards and moving them out there isn't much space for your feet.
If you plan on doing any off roading or anything else remotely dangerous, you might want to look at sliders. Budbuilt has really nice bump out sliders. They are about $450 if I recall and you'll have a dual purpose for them. I'm not sure if you need to modify your rocker panels to fit these though. Other companies offer there own versions of sliders, like Shrockworks (and I'm drawing blanks on other companies).

These fit no mod? I have Limited as well and not many good options w/o needing mod. I hate my OEM's, took them off. CAN you please post a pic, I might have to get these if look good. I would go black trim/stainless. Thanks!

One guy took his cause chrome yellowed. I am thinking black trim/stainless steel step is the best combo option. They look great!

those are the same OWEM boards I have... I think there is more than enough foot space. I have a size 10 shoe so not huge but more than enough to get in and out.... the deezee looks cool but too big a gap between the rocker and the board for my liking.
Side note: the 2012 OEM running boards aren't as clunky as ours.... Just gotta find the pic

These were bolt-on with normal hand-tools--no modifications necessary.

X2 on the DeeZee boards. Good solid board, all aluminum, rubber treads for good grip, no flex, heavy steel brackets. Highly recommend them!
Easy to install? did you need to fab anything or was it a straight forward screw and bolt job?

Sounds good to me, time to place my order.Bolt on install 6 bolts per side and was very easy. Took about 30 minutes total and that was lying on my back in the driveway. Only tools need were 3/8 ratchet 3" extension and 12 or 13 mm socket (forget the actual size :shrug.
