Last week I took a trip to The Enchanting State of New Mexico!!! It was a quick turn-around trip from Houston to Red River and back.

Sunday was a long 14 hour drive from Houston to Red River on Sunday…

Thanks to a light snow Sunday night/Monday Morning and over cast the conditions weren’t too bad on the slopes…

After boarding I decided to go explore and see what kind of trouble I could get into…

I spent about an hour digging myself out until a fellow Texan in a F-250 stopped and offered to pull me out.

After I was free I went to check out Eagle Nest Lake…

That was more than a decade ago! Any new plans for an epic trip?

Yes it was, I wound up trading that 4Runner in on a Tacoma later that year due to an unfortunate head gasket issue. I have gone on many trips since then. That's why I haven't been very active on this forum... I do hope to get back in another 4Runner in the near future though.
