Redrum build

So tracking a missfire i found this ...

Plug#1

Plug#6

Well i cleaned em . re-gapped em . got rid of the missfire .. But it still ran rough .. Also had a funny sound coming from the back side of the engine . got a tip that it was under the plenum so i removed it ..

This is some of what i found ...
This was cracked and not connected .. Thats also where the weird noise was coming from ..

Also this vac line was disconnected and cracked ..

( that hose went to this hard line .. ) cant see it but 2 of those 3 little vac lines also cracked..

So .. The plan now is egr and pair valve delete .. Ive looked it on a few places still kinda confused on on the pair valve. Any tips or good detailed diagrams are welcomed ...

Well didnt do alot but made a little progress .. I got my egr and pair valve removed and all vac line off that ill no longer need ..

So now waiting on plate kit and need to get plugs for the vac lines ..

Also the chrome on my grill is peeling .. So i need to decide what to do about this ..

So now for the fun ... Not related to my project .. Well kinda .. I carved a 2g4m pumpkin ..

And got another toyota ..

Well this weekend they are caling for rain so not much will go on .. But still have alot to do so stay tuned ....

LCE is a scam company. They pray on people who don't understand value.
$2,300 for a top end kit that takes a engine from 100hp to 150hp.
That's 46$ per hp

And they have a 283hp engine. That they don't even show the HP on the website anymore because it embarrassing for $7,500
http://www.lceperformance.com/22R-RE-Stage-5-Pro-Stroker-Race-Long-Block-p/1002078.htm

They are scam dumb people. I don't doubt the quality of there goods. I doubt anyone who would spend $7,500 for a 283hp engine.
You can get a turn key Ls 6.0 for 3,000 with 300hp.
Or a 5vze with 290hp for about $1,500.

I guess it's not LCE's fault it the buyers fault for not doing research on cost to value ratio.
Some people will say "well yes but I want to my Toyota to be somewhat stick with a 22re"
I call BS on that statement because the 3rz and 5vze are far better engines and are true Toyota engines. And both those engines offer far more then the 22re has to offer.

Just don't fall into the LCE scam the 22re is a maxed out engine you can't get much more out of it and someone selling you something at a high cost to get just a pinch more is a crook. It reminds me of the guy in high school who believed that a cold air intake and a fart can on his exhaust tip gave him 30 more hp. It falls into stupidity category for me.

Oh no someone else fell for the LCE scam.

Good luck lug cutting!

$20 for a EGR block off is a far cry from $7,500 motor. Still too much for a couple of pieces that could be fabbed at home with hand tools, but hardly a rip off.

Cutting lugs with that tool is a piece of cake, it's a good one.

Anyways ... Here is what im doing to my tires ....

Started with this...

Going to this ...

Also have this to install when i find time and a day its not snowing or freezing ... (4runner sets out side .. I dont have a shop) ...

As far as the egr delete .. Its done but im still having tps and timing issues so its still not running properly but is running better since the vac leaks are gone ... Just stumbles when revved unplug tps it runs perfect ...

The 37" humvee tires are great pricewise but heavy as crap.

Your groover looks the same as mine, can't beat it for the price. Took me one tire to get it right with out breaking blades. I think 3 on the first tire
