well to start it off .. my dad bought this 95 4runner and it was already lifted 7" (4" suspension 3" body ) on 35s for his toy ..
about 2 years later he had a massive heart attack and wasnt able to pull through..:cry2::cry2:
well a year of it setting after his passing my step mom calls me and asks if i want it .. if not shed scrap it .. but i had to give her $500 for it ..
( day i brought it home )
it didnt hardly run . i did a tune up and ended up replacing all 6 injectors .. got it running but still needed work ..
i had to replace a rear 1/4 window , i had bought a bunch of cheap front end parts and had a shop replace everything on it for almost twice they quoted me ( i did it because i didnt have time and ill never do it again .. nor buy cheap parts ... )
well the tires it had where so dry rotted they wouldnt hold air so i bought some 38s from a friend and well to fit em i added a 2" daystar coil spacer in the rear and turned the torsion bars just to level it ( also had to do some trimming ... )
it didnt stay clean long .. found some mud and took it to a bud bog ..
later on i found a hole in my axle from ripping off the upper mount ( damn lift extenders .. )
(not the safest but it held for a month ... )
after a few weeks i bought a parts runner for $200 with a blown hg ..
got my axle and a few other parts , sold some parts , sold the rest .. i made a good profit on it :wink2::wink2:
