I am waiting for the '17 PRO, with a deposit placed. I am guessing January delivery?

Interested in the Stingray Lo Pro bumper with BD light, and a pair of their rails, but don't need them for a few months, unfortunately. Would like to hear more about TRD skid plate compatibility.

I would like to lock in pricing though. Would Relentless hold off on building for a few months and perhaps install when I am ready?

I will be in Tahoe for a few ski trips this winter, and can easily make it to Sparks.

You'll have to try to work that out with [MENTION=82791]Relentless[/MENTION]fab, but I'm not sure they want to extend pricing past this week. You could just order it and not pick it up for a while or hold onto it until the 17 comes in.

I would like to see a couple of pics of where the center of the bumper was cut out. Also was it removed first or was it cut on the vehicle.

I don't have a ton of pics, but [MENTION=82791]Relentless[/MENTION] or [MENTION=143851]Black_Sheep[/MENTION] should have instructions or a video soon.

Install consisted of removing the plastic front bumper, Removing the crash bar, cutting along the lines in the center, reattaching the front bumper, and bolting in the new bumper. Took Eric about 45 min so should average around an hour for people who are taking it on for the first time.

It would be really cool if the lower grill hinged out of the way or popped out somehow for class-leading access to the winch. What's the need for replacing the bottom grill? No more mounting points?

I asked them and they will send my grill and frame not welded on. I will build a hinge and either magnets or a latch to hold it in place. I ordered a Smittybuilt x20 10K winch with synthetic line and access to the clutch will be much easier with this option.

The grille isn't welded on to anybody's. Its just bolted on so that they are interchangeable. I'll be getting one with a lightbar cutout soon and swapping it on.

I think they ship to Canada. No need to upgrade the suspension. Just 75 pounds. Maybe after adding a winch.

I, and i think a lot of people who offroad on muddy trails, would probably enjoy not trying to squat down that low and reach up through a muddy bumper if there was an option of removing the lower grill

You have to squat just about as low to get into the lower grill. I'm not gigging on you and it's your ride. I'll just pop the hood old school like I always have and reach in from the top. It just seems like you're trying to address a problem that isn't there with a solution that may break or not hold itself closed. It's your ride and you can do with it as you please. I was just asking a question and making an observation. And I'll stop now. I just thought the builder was pretty thoughtful for adding those openings for that specific purpose.

And you do still have to reach down on that muddy trail to get your pristine and clean winch hook and cable out. How do I know? :becky:

I think you're confused. You don't have to go under the bumper. Look at the pic head on. There are 2 trapezoidal cutouts on the sides of the winch plate for access. Unless you completely buried your truck, to the point where you would not be able to winch out, you'll have no problems. So that first pic would have no problems with access.

Lol. There is no under. There is through the front and on each side. Maybe 4 - 6" lower than your grill opening. Like I said, I'll stick with opening the hood. You do what you want to :wink2:

I'm referring to the SSO bumper I already have. I do like this simple yet elegant solution for access but my money has already been spent. I really have no problem with the hinged grill idea. I just think it is adding complication and possible parts to break to something that has already been addressed.
