The grille isn't welded on to anybody's. Its just bolted on so that they are interchangeable. I'll be getting one with a lightbar cutout soon and swapping it on.

I said the grill and frame. The grill's frame is welded to the bumper. I could cut off the welds once I got it but it was easier just to ask them what I would prefer before they build it.

You can keep yours the way it is that is fine. I want the option of easier access
to the winch. I'm in CA so I will also make a hinged license plate holder.

Something like this, it's time to put your big boy pants on, invest in a Dremel, install the bumper, and treat yourself to a beer as you gaze in amazement at your handiwork.

Really easy cuts. With a little prep and a dremel with a cutting wheel, you'll be done in no time. Only a few minutes.

I guess I just don't fully understand why since there is access from the front of the bumper. You can hinge it, but it's fixing a problem that isn't there. I was just trying to make sure that you understood you could get to it from the front.

I think he got a pretty good number of orders to start with. I definitely agree that the more people see them around and on different rigs the more interest will be gained.

I'm not in the market for one of these, but I do want to say (As a welder and a Mechanical Engineer) your welds and supports look well though out and very clean. I also appreciate the useful design, it's the little things that count here.

I appreciate the kind feedback! Those are my goals, well thought out products that are expertly crafted. I'm always trying to better myself as a welder and strive for the cleanest and strongest welds possible. :madgrin:

Unfortunately Pro's are very rare around us, so I have not had the opportunity to work with one. I think I've only seen 3 of them ever around town. I did manage to get some nice perspective photos from a person on IG with a Pro and based on the photos I do not see any interferences with the Pro skid. We're just holding out until I've had my hands on one to actually test/confirm first hand before advertising their compatibility with the Pro skid.
