i have the AVITAL & it has different program settings,. start & run for 5 min. or 10 or 20, whatever, restart it self again or not, door & window buttons work the same. one thing tho, if i used the remote starter, & am getting in, i must get in & step on the break pedal within a certain time (1-2 min.) or the the engine shuts off & the alarm will go on. then the key needs to used to reset & start . but theres no problem with changing your mind, the engine will shut off & not restart ,the doors will remain locked, as long as you have it set to not continue restarting. tell who ever does the install how you want things set.
