Does anyone know how many stock keyless remotes are able to be programmed to the truck. I was just wondering since I'd like a spare at home and a spare at work but do not want to buy them if the trucks computer will not support 4. Thanks in advance, Pete.

According to my 2005 Manual, it states you can program up to 4 wireless remote control transmitters for the same vehicle.

although it may say there's a limit on the number of remotes you can program, i know of a 3rd gen w/ 10 remotes (so go figure).

plus how would the cpu know how many it programmed anyhow (since you can ultimately lose abunch).

2004 manuals says 4 also (same as 2005 manual). It does also say to contact your dealership, which "could" equate to, "they are going to rip you off". Just my jaded view of car dealerships and their service departments.
