Removing 3rd Row Seats

I'm full of questions as I currently work to quell my 4Runner boner. Heh ...

In interwebbing and talking with the dealer, it seems that those 4Runners equipped with 3rd seats - they are not removable. Say, as they would be with my current 2001 Land Cruiser.

I tried searching a got nothing.

Can 3rd row seats be removed?

No they cant. But they hide in there pretty well. Flat as the cargo space.

Yes, they can..They are just bolted to the floor. Anything is removable if you have the right tools.A few on here have taken them out and sold them.

If your talking easy to remove and then re-install when you need them,then no. They do fold flat when not in use thought at the cost of the whole rear cargo area being raised up approx. 6-8 inches.The second row of seats are different and IMO,not as nice in the 3 row models also.
