Removing doors / Tube doors

I used to have an FJ40 and drove without doors all summer.
Never saw the need for tube doors.

Is there a legality reason for tube doors? I see them on 4Runners and Broncos and have seen a couple just with the doors off.
Do you need to have doors?

In VA door are not required, but you must have at least 2 rearview mirrors, one inside and on out, or 2 outside. I ran my Runner last year w/o doors, and picked up some tube doors this winter for the coming warm months.

there ARE issues with it ..
it is not legal to drive with out doors .. or even drive with tube doors on the road . CHECK your local laws .. you'll see

reason is "crap" can exit the vehicle by rolling out the open door area ... this is why 1/2 door are more popular
