Your '06 doesn't have wires. It has 6 or 8 little coils right on top of the plugs.
Do you have a V6 or a V8? The V8 comes with long-life Iridium plugs. The V6 comes with 'standard' plugs with a recommended change interval of 30k. The general consensus seems to be don't bother with designer plugs. The do very little or nothing for the T4R. Many with a V6 have used an Iridium version of the NGK or Denso to get away from the 30k interval. The V8 guys use the NGK or Denso OE replacement for the most part...

Which one to choose
Yeah I have the V6 model for the 4Runner. Is there a brand of spark plugs that are better than the other. I would like to replace with a better spark plug than the one that I currently have.

last week I installed 6 brand new DENSO IRIDIUM IKH20 spark plugs and used 89 octane gasoline instead of 87. Let me tell you my truck felt like a rocket. And no its not in my head. I didnt expect much from changing the spark plugs. That same night I drove 4 hrs. upstate NY to go hunting so I had plenty of time to really 'feel' a difference instead of just driving around town.
