Replace all 4 leaking Struts, any suggestion for cheap?

I am about to replace all 4 strut (with spring or without spring) for my 2010 limited. I know I will have to give X-REAS so I can go cheaper option to get 3rd party struts. I am wondering, if I not want to spend too much,

1. Is there a difference between brand MONROE and KYB ($150 more totally)?
2. Should I only purchase struts or full assembly (with spring)? I didn't see my current spring has any reason to replace. Of cause labor will be $100 more.

My 4runner is 12 years old, and I am now have kids to feed. So I am only looking for relacing leaked struts. Not for fancy lifting/modifying etc. :dance:

Budget friendly with good quality and keeping stock springs, Bilstein 5100s or Eibach Pro Truck. I would stear clear of Monroe.
 
Bilstein 5100 if you want to level the car. 4600 if stock height and no hard off-roading.

Thank you guys. Looks like Bilstein is the one to go. If I am not intend to lift, is there any difference between 4600 and 5100? Is 5100 build stronger?

Also, what's the exact part number for 4600 front and rear? I found it online from somewhere mentioned fit for 4runner 2012 or newer. But I believe 2010 is same as 2012.

pretty well explained here, 5100s are pretty common on this forum plus there is a lifetime warranty on them. I have 6112 with 600/650 springs in front and 5100s in the rear. The ride is solid and more planted /firm and less rake while braking. I'd recommend leveling it out with the adjustable 5100s up front.

another option is to look on facebook marketplace for someone that just took off OEM suspension. plenty of people take a brand new truck and lift it and then sell practically new, full assembled stuff for like $100. it's not a lift or bilsteins but it's still good quality
 
Chrisridebike8, thanks for your suggestion. I should check facebook first. But it is already too late as I have already pull the trigger got a set of new Bilstein 4600. Sorry I might a little disappoint you guys here as I get boring 4600 instead of 5100. As a family guy, I don't really do off-road :-). But anyway, I watched a lot of videos and I think this is a task I can DIY. Will post some progress I really go DIY.
 
I just installed 5100 on my ORP. I love them and feel it's one of the best upgrades for the truck. I only drive on the road and never go off road. I set the front at .85 and still gives it the perfect amount of rake. I wish I put them on when I first got the truck along with the Michelin LTX tires.... Perfect setup!
 
Also, instead of completely ripping our XREAS system. Maybe put a cap on the lines going into the shocks. And zip tie the lines out of the way? Its not difficult to take everything out, just a bit time consuming. Just a thought.

Eibach has kits that are of good quality, but maybe not for the budget minded. Good Luck!

I love my Bilstein 4600s for stock height! Have them on front and back and it drives better than OEM. Just an FYI the OEM shocks and struts are fairly cheap for an OEM product.
