Replaced Front CV Drive Axles, Funny Noise Now

Hello everyone.
I replaced both front CV Drive Axles on my 2004 4Runner. Used the RockAuto Cardone HD replacements. With the forum instructions, the repairs went well. Also replaced the axle seals and the hub dust seals while the axles were out. No leaks!
But, now when I drive, my passenger side axle makes a funny rotating squishy noise. Sort of a swoosh swoosh swoosh noise. Almost like something is rubbing on rubber. I am completely at a loss to know what to do, other than maybe return the drive axle and ask for another. Has anyone had this type of experience. The noise is pretty loud. My neighbor can hear it from 4 or 5 houses down when I drive by. Thanks for any tips.

I would lift the wheel off the ground, then turn it by hand and watch the cv rotating. See if you can find the spot where the noise might be happening and narrow it down further. It could be the rubber boot not sitting in its correct position. Use the other side to help work out what looks good and what doesn't. If this doesn't help, return it.

Did you make sure the Axle was fully seated. I had a problem similar to yours I just did push the Axle in far enough. Post some pics or a video.

Dust shield around the rotor? Make sure both ends of the CV are seated correctly?
