I have been looking to do the same thing. Here is a great post with the information you are looking for.

Does anyone have any experience with the powered 10" subs or bass tubes?

Don't have much experience with the bass tubes personally, however, I've heard they aren't bad.
If you are simply looking for some lower end to your music and you want to keep it a stealth install, you can't go wrong with the Pioneer TS-SW841D. I have one that I'm not using, but installed it briefly to see what it sounded like and was very impressed. There are others too that are shallow mount subs. Put the amp under one of the front seats (probably pass), & there you go.
