Replacement Options for LED Spoiler Brake Light?

My rear spoiler is an aftermarket. I just found out that the led light went bad and apparently just like the OEM spoiler, the entire light unit needs to be replaced.

The part number on mine is JS-03603. I believe OEM part is JS-03603-E. Mine looks identical to the one pictured below.

Anyway, it appears the only aftermarket replacement is from spoilerlights.com. They sell on Ebay too. It's $69.95. That seemed pricey to me consider I bought the entire spoiler (painted & color matched) off Ebay for like $110.

Anyway, I just want to check & see if anyone knows any other lower cost options.

Is the lens & housing glued? can they not be separated in any way?
If you can, then it;s just a matter of replacing the led strip.

can be seperated with some paitence , but the leds in there are in a circuit board. i have replaced the whole assesmbly. it just a easier solution, but since im a modder, i could of change the leds colors and do designs.

FWIW, my (stock) LED brakelight was recently intermittent. With a bit of persuasion, got it apart and found out it was just a cracked solder joint on one of the power wires coming into the unit. Resoldered it, and done. If the whole unit is suddenly dark (it's a little unclear on the original post if it's just one or two of the LEDS, or the whole unit), it might be worth taking apart & seeing if it something similar. If you're looking at replacing it anyway, what's the worst that can happen? You might break it?

Was there any update on this? Did the OEM one fit the aftermarket spoiler? Looks like mine is out as well and could use a replacement.
