I'm just full of new threads today. Bare with me, I just picked up my 3rd gen yesterday so I'm shaking things out.
Looked everywhere and can't find the key to the wheel locks. Checked the window sticker and these were listed under optional equipment, so I'm assuming they came from Toyota. Checked with the previous owner and he has no idea where it could be. Says he always kept it with the jack under the rear seat and his mech used it to rotate the tires every 3000 miles. I've had these things before and I know shops have a habit of laying them down and not giving them back unless you take the responsibility to make sure you get it back before you leave. So, maybe that's what happened last time he had the tires rotated.
Anyway, the nearest dealer is 65 miles from me. Is there any way to tell what key I need and order it without carrying it to someone like a dealer?
