I did this to mine:

The estimate said:

FRT BUMPER VALANCE PANEL 53901-35210 145.53

Mine doesn't have any dents, just scraped the bumper cover. Man I'm ticked off. What do you think a paint estimate would be for the bumper cover?

Currently on a trip for work but when I get home I can give you an itemized list of what my dealership charged my neighbors insurance for Bumper Cover + Paint + Install.

My neighbor across the street didn't park her car in gear and it rolled out of her garage and into my parked 4Runner...:ybrick:

That sucks but thanks a ton for your help!

Has anybody had to replace thier front bumper cover? How much did the dealership charge you?
The dealerships usually have a body shop they farm out the work to ,rather then do it themselves.

I paid $350 to have my front and rear bumper covers painted silver but had quotes ranging from $300 to $600.But they still have to buy the same amount of paint and supplies so don't expect it to be half that.

Best thing you can do is ask around who does good work ,get quotes from several places and go from there.Prices are different depending on where you live and the competition. There are alot of good body shops here in the DFW metroplex.

hey buddy, here is what the dealership's body shop charged:

Bumper Cover - $245.92
Body Labor - 3.7 Hrs @ $40/hr - 148.00
Paint Labor - 3.6 Hrs @ $40/hr - 144.00
Paint Supplies - 3.6 Hrs @ $26/hr - 93.60
Sublet / Misc. - $-46.80
Pre-Tax Discount - $-20.20

Total $559.51

That's right in the range I was figuring. Thanks for the numbers.

I say leave it. It 's a battle scar. You can say you got it on this knarly trail you were 4x4 in on .

My wife, who is very picky, says we should just leave it too. She thinks that there's just no way we are gonna be able to get the ******* to pay for the damage without having to pay out of pocket first or going to small claims. I just don't want the guy to get away with hitting my truck without dealing with some type of consequence...

Valve core remover, wear gloves, toss the cores down a storm drain. Cheap, easy, fast, and if you remove all of them it renders the vehicle completely useless but completely undamaged.
