Sounds kinda confusing but the led lights that are in the HVAC Display are not very bight and are hard read at night. Has anyone replaced those little lights in there?

I remember seeing a forum on it but not sure where it is

The only writeup I know about is for a 4th gen runner. I think its somewhere in Audio and Electronics section. They are not LEDs they are tiny plastic based bulbs available from Toyota. The writeup shows how to convert to LEDs and they are plenty bright. Also different colors are shown. It's a really good thread.

www.autolumination.com has them.

But there are three different sizes, and I'm not sure which one is the correct size.

Type A 8mm= 5/16"
Type B 10mm= 3/8"
Type C 12mm= 15/32"

Yea HVAC really threw me off cause in school one of my mechanical engineering classes is actually called HVAC
