I have a 2005 4runner w/JBL and I want to replace the front, rear, and subwoofer. I want the best option that gives me great bass and sound quality. I listen to music pretty loud. Does anyone know what speakers and sub would be best for me?

I would highly suggest asking this question on a dedicated audio forum and not a 4Runner forum. No offense to anyone here ;)

I would suggest Sundown Audio personally.

First off. You're going to get numerous "what's best"

In my opinion. Change the head unit first and get an Amp with a couple of Subs. I did this and left the stock speakers. Sounds fantastic. Most stock speakers perfume much better when you can tune in the frequencies allowed by adding the new deck.

Add deck, amp and subs. Listen to how it sounds. Then add new speakers elsewhere if not happy.

Focal and hertz makes good speakers, also morel, dynaudio, hybridaudio, for amps go with rockford fosgate t series for power, otherwise get mosconi, butler, audison, mcintosh, jl makes good subs for that boom and thump, rockford is ok too, but if u want it to be musical go with focal hertz morel. For headunit i would run pioneer dex-p99rs

Not sure if you were trying to make a joke or not, and I realize its your opinion...but really? #1 in car audio?

#1 in what? Possibly in sales, since they have more marketing...but it doesn't mean their equipment is #1. Just because your name is known well in the industry, leading to more buyers and higher yearly sales doesn't make them #1. If this were the case many other brands you can think of off the top of your head would all be #1. RF is definitely not #1 in quality.

Much of the BEST audio equipment is the least known except to those who are deeply involved or informed in the hobby. And believe it or not, the best is not always the most expensive...or sometimes even on the higher end of the $$ scale.

Rockford Fosgate. There's a reason they're #1 in car audio.

Just my .01.
