Just finished taking off the balancer bolt and balancer getting ready for the new timing belt, and was wondering if its worth my time to replace oil pump and pan gasket on a 95 3.0. Was just going to replace front oil seal and be on my way, but just started thinking that it didn't look too bad, but the pics of the oil strainer and its tube has me a little gun shy. Is this doable? or should I just stick with the front seal?
BTW, bought this as a project, so I don't really know if there are any oil pan leaks or if there is any issues with the pump, just thought I would ask while I was in there.
