Reprogramming remote control

Can the 4runner remote be reprogrammed to lower all 5 windows and open the sunroof at one time? If so, is it something easy I can do myself?

Only the 4 windows and the moon roof can be opened, get your dealership to do it next time you go for a service.

Also remember to make sure to have them enable the window/sunroof closing feature via the drivers door key hole (if this is not enabled already). This is because while you can open everything wireless with the fob, Toyota does not allow you to wireless close anything; so you have to do that manually with the key into the drivers door key hole.

Anyone with the Techstream software should be able to do it for you also. If you were closer I'd do it for free...

Yes, but the option must be enabled in techstream. (Which, if you have the software you can do, else go to your dealer.) The option allows you to roll all 4 windows down and either tilt or open the moonroof depending on programming. You can also have the mechanical key "up/down" option programmed as well which will allow you to use your key in the drivers door (on all models, including limited) to roll up the windows and close the moonroof.

All of the above! Especially in South Louisiana where the inside of the car gets up to an easy 110 degrees on the regular during the summer.:flamethrwoer2:
