Reputable AZ shop?

I'm going to get some new 5100's (x4) for my TE with KDSS. I could probably do the install myself (did a lift kit on a JK) but don't have the time or patience as of late. Also, the limited research I've done makes it sound like the KDSS system adds in another layer of annoyance when performing this switch.

So, I was wondering....has anyone had a good experience with an offroad/toyota shop in the Phoenix area? I've delt with shops in the past with a mixed experience...there are the good ones, and the ones that'll turn your vehicle into a nightmare.

I've not been to their shop but I've spent countless hours on the phone with Steve and have bought numerous items that Steve built totaling a few thousand bucks, as well as probably $5k worth of off the shelf parts. He knows his stuff on 4Runners and I trust his opinion. He tells it like it is, sells you only what you need and doesn't pressure you to buy items that are fluff. Everything he sells is tested on his trucks. If I were closer I would be asking them to do work for me too.

I second the Sonoran Steel recommendation. Steve is a great guy and knows his stuff. I would also recommend Sierra Expeditions. Wil is another great guy that knows his stuff. They are not going to be the cheapest in town but they stand behind their work, they will fight for you on vendor issues, and have always taken the time to do a quality job or right a wrong.

Steve is a great guy and very knowledgeable Toyota guru.

I have had many things done to both my 4Runners at Sierra Expeditions znd they are equally knowledgeable and have outstanding customer service. They recently did a 2.5" bilstein lift kn my 2006 4Runner, got it done in a few hours and it rides like a dream

I've wheeled with Steve on numerous occasions and as others have mentioned, he's as good a guy as you're going to find....not to mention he really knows his stuff and will treat you right.
