Reverse Lights

So I replaced my reverse lights as shown in the link below. These lights are no better, maybe even worse than the stock lights. This thread is several years old, so maybe those lights are out of date. I did a google search & these are the most recent that came up. Does anyone have a better option, that doesn't cost an arm & a leg?

Diode Dynamics Tail as Turn module is $50. Then just purchase the LED of your choice, doesn't have to be through DD.

Thanks NW.OH.T4R, I should have specified better. All I want to do is switch out the bulbs. Doesn't even need to be LED.

If you have the stock head unit you may have to adjust the brightness and contrast to see the LED light as well.

I'm using these, they're insanely bright!

I put these in after seeing another thread:

They are hella bright and really illuminate things way better than stock.

Went with these. Mounted underneath tucked away. Tap the hitch for power and reverse trigger. Black and yellow, grabbed a ground in the hatch and ran relays to switches on the dash. Auto on with reverse/off/ on at will, helps with tailgaters

It looks like you re-mounted your trailer plug. Am I right? I've thought about moving mine. Tucked back up is nice and out of the way, but it sure sucks when you want to plug into it.
If you did do it, what did you do to move it regarding wiring and mount?

Do your bulbs have LEDs all around the bulb or just on 2 sides? Mine were only up & down and I had to rotate them so the LEDs were facing right & left. Made the visibility better by casting out the light in the proper directions. Hope that makes sense.

I was thinking of putting rear-facing light pods. They would be way brighter than the stock lights, even if I used LED bulbs instead.

Yeah I removed the stock plug and bracket. couldn't find anywhere to aline both(centered) right and left side without getting rid of it. I bought this on amazon and screwed it to the "L" bracket holding up the light. Still tucked away but easier to plug into. They also sell flush mount if your brave enough to cut into the bumper. I've seen a runner in this forum that did it

DONE! Best 13.99 I have spent on the runner! Just insanely bright...the way it should have come from Toyota!
