Such an awesome build! I see you're in the San Jose area, I'll be moving up to the palo alto area soon for 3 months for work. We should run a trail while im up there.

Let's go!!!!! Hit me up when you get into town. We'll definitely take on some trails.

I'm running a Nestor Firestik antenna from the FJ guys. I still need to get the FM/CB splitter so I can use it as both.

A trailer would be awesome but this trip was kind of out of nowhere and I wanted to see how the rack and truck would handle being packed like that. Normal trips would only see 2 to 5 adults max.

Mikey- Have you dropped off your truck for butt lipo yet?

The butt lift starts next Tuesday. We are talking Hollister run this coming Sunday if you are down, and that way I can glance at the Shrockworks skids. I got to get one more trip in before the butt lift.

noobshooter- I actually have that switch among other OTRATTW switches. It is waiting to be installed by me once I find some time.

Finally had a chance to make it back out to Hollister to go on a run with Mikey and the 120 guys. it was raining for a good portion of the day but it cleared up towards the late afternoon. I only have pics from my iPhone as I didn't have access to a SLR for the day. All in all, it was a great day out with some old and new friends. After 13k miles I am still stoked to be driving a 4R. Now its time to save up for Mikey's 4x4labs rear bumper. :

Custom ABS Front Grill

Not much has been done to the truck since the bulk of the mods were completed but I did finally get around to getting rid of the stock plastidip'd grill. I liked the concept of the Satoshi grill but never liked the flat wire mesh look. I wanted to keep the look of the stock grill but without the emblem/middle part. I recently found some ABS mesh that looked very similar to the stock grill that I felt would do the trick for me.

The install took about 4 hours because I was very cautious with cutting everything out and making sure it all fit without it looking messy or DIY. I am very happy with the way it turned out. I ended up extending the grill down to the bumper which I think makes it look much cleaner then before. You can no longer see the Shrockworks stock grill bracket.

Now's the time to get one if you do! Especially with the deal he's offering now, and with the fact that they are raising price come January.

Thanks guys! Now is the time to get a Gobi if you ever plan on getting one.

I'm hoping to get a rear bumper sometime in the next year or so. I also need to install my switch panel for my lights and my SW gas tank skid. These 2 items have been sitting here for a while.

I got the grill off of ebay. Just search ABS Mesh grill.
