Here is my switch panel that [MENTION=68685]Ducmonsta[/MENTION] and I installed. I used OTRATTW switches with their housings and gutted out that little pocket in the center console. I also have a Blue Sea 12 circuit fuse box up front under the engine bay and a Blue Sea 6 circuit fuse box in the rear that has the constant 12v to power my fridge and charge cameras/phones/etc. Pretty happy with how all of this is working out.

Do you have a write up of how you installed the fuse box in the rear? I'm looking at an ARB fridge but now wondering how to power it.

No tar or asphalt smell at all.

I don't have a write up but im sure there is a write up on the forum someone has put together. Pretty simple task once you take off all the panels and expose everything. [MENTION=68685]Ducmonsta[/MENTION] and I ran an 8 gauge direct from the battery through the firewall, along the sides and into the rear where the rear blue sea fuse box sits.

So many updates but so little time. Here are a bunch of pictures from the past couple of weeks. Some were taken during my trip to NW Overland Rally in Plain WA and some are from this past weekend camping in Nehalem, OR.

I wanna sit down and write a bit more about the SS Offroad [MENTION=110183]SouthernSS[/MENTION] rear bumper but for now, to sum it up; This bumper is awesome! It's everything I have ever wanted in a rear bumper and more. I am so glad i waited. I did wait about 4 years before pulling the trigger on the SSO bumper when i saw the prototype pics from [MENTION=123371]fargo4x4[/MENTION]

I love the high clearance of the bumper, the camp table, the jerry can holder, the hi-lift mount and that the rear camera still works. I also like that I was able to mount the Worthington 6lb aluminum tank and mount without having to modify anything. The side step and LED lights inside the step are awesome! The flush mount Rigid SRM2's in the rear are a huge improvement for rear visibility at night. Works great for camp lights as well. Oh and the side ladder, It is SOLID. I've climbed up and down this thing while setting up and breaking down my RTT numerous times now and I've had no issues with it. Kevin and his team over at SSO are top notch! Do not hesitate to do business with them. I've got nothing but good things to say about SSO and their products.

I also swapped out the rear Icon 2" springs for the newer Icon 3" Overland springs to support the extra weight of the bumper. So far the ride is fantastic. No issues with anything. I also removed my rear sway bar just to see how the rig would feel and it feels great. No issues with day to day driving. This is still my family daily driver.

Huge s/o and thanks to my brother from another mother, [MENTION=68685]Ducmonsta[/MENTION]. He's helped me with a good amount if not all of my recent mods. That dudes skill is unrivaled and his ability to work a crowd is unmatched (#nwoverlandrally; you had to be there moment).

I cut up the stock bumper and used that to cover the top gap just as a temporary solution. SSO is sending me the new cover plate as I type this and will be installing that as soon as it arrives.

Just curious. How is the weatherstripping on your doors holding up without the rocker panels after all this time? I just traded in my FJ for a Limited and am considering my slider options. I don't really want to shell out the money for the TE trim, so it's either remove it altogether, trim it, or go with a set of sliders that work with the LE trim (which isn't necessarily a bad thing since they'll end up being even with all the junk that hangs off the bottom of the T4R anyway).

My rockers have been off for nearly 3 years and are not worn and are as water tight and air tight as ever.

SSO Rear bumper is a complete replacement, no cutting necessary.
Notching the middle of the frame is required if you choose the integrated hitch over the bolt on.

No problem whatsoever. I ended up joining the Shrockworks GB a couple months back and got their trim panel. Pretty happy about the finished look of the rockers now.

The K9 is a complete bolt on. No drilling required at all. Very very happy with the Eezi-Awn product line.

Yes [MENTION=130497]Wolf_Gang16[/MENTION] is correct. The SSO rear bumper is a no cut direct bolt on bumper. You will have to notch the frame if you go with the high clearance hitch option, like i did.

No real updates as of late but things with the rig are going well. Still loving the rear SSO bumper. It's definitely made camping/cooking a bit easier and more organized. [MENTION=68685]Ducmonsta[/MENTION] and I are getting ready to finish the Alley lights and rock lights install. After that, not much else left to do besides get out and camp more.
