Quick question re the K9 roof rack....is it a simple install or any complicated steps? Any drilling involved? Thanks!

[MENTION=130920]samster747[/MENTION]- The K9 is a complete bolt on rack. No drilling whatsoever. Install is very simple. You simply mount the rail on the truck with 4 bolts on each rail, left and right, then mount the uprights and then attach the top rack. The top of the rack is all 1 piece. Install is very easy. Nothing complicated at all.

Do you have any close up pictures of how you mounted the Rigid Ignite lights? I am thinking about putting some on my roof rack just like yours as alley lights, but I'm curious as to how you mounted them.

Here's how the Rigid Ignite's are mounted to the Eezi-Awn-Awn K9 rack. I just used the existing hole that was there from the mount.

Was able to get out on some trails last Sunday with the local PDX Overlanders group. We hit Trask towards Pacific city in the Tillamook forest. Definitely some good times.

Propane tank mount

Hello Zombie Crusher!! Nice build man! Question, What exactly did you do for mounting straps for the propane tank onto the SSOR rear bumper? Do you mind posting a couple close up pics? Thanks!

It's a smittybuilt C02 tank holder with some 1" rubber stoppers to use as spacers so it could fit snug. Ultimately i want to take off the straps off the mount, cut them down and then rivet it back onto the mount.

@ridet4r Do you have pictures of how you rigged your solar connector in the grill? Also your air chuck? Thinking of getting a bigger battery soon so would like to be able to charge it with a solar panel as well. Is it connected directly to the battery? Thanks for the help.

Solar connector goes straight to the battery.

Air chuck just goes straight from the tank and out to the bumper. I don't have pictures of any of that since it's so tight in those areas and hard capture. Once you get in there it will make sense on where to run the line/wires.

Thanks for help! Hey I was wondering....I know you removed your shark fin antenna on the top of your rig...what did you fill the holes with?? I'm hoping to remove mine and doing something with leaving the rack on.

I just found some black rubber push caps at a local hardware store that would fit the two holes the best and used some black silicone to completely seal out the the elements. No leaks so far and its been well over a year now.
