Rigid Dually SAE Fog Lights - Anyone use them?

I am seriously looking into picking up the Rigid Dually D2 SAE-approved fog lights to replace my factory fog lights on my 2016 TEP. I am going to buy the fog light kit, adapter plates and pigtails from TAP Auto Parts (link below).

But before I do, I haven't had much luck finding anyone who has run these on their '14+ 4runner. Anyone here run them in their stock fog light locations? Any reviews/opinions?

Do it. Plenty of people have the kit and they look rad. I have a set in the garage somewhere waiting to go on someday.

I'm running these and I love them! I added the amber covers, which do block a good amount of light, but they're still plenty bright.

I wasn't able to buy the adapter plugs from TAP, so I just cut the factory fog wires and added deutsh connectors so the Rigids can just plug right in. Works great with the Independent Fog-light mod!

I run the Dually with the flood optics with the white light, which is 5000 KV. They work great and are a world of difference from stock. I would recommend this set up, but I haven't used anything else. My installer mounted them up to the stock switch so it looks factory and it's nice to have the indicator on the dash if they are on as well.

Im running D2s in Amber on my fogs. Work great in crappy weather and never once had anyone flash their brights at me.

If you want "white" LEDs, go with the DOT approved ones, but if you want better visibility in rain/fog/snow go with the ambers in flood.

I do have a set of Dually floods that I might install somewhere in the grille. If anyone has suggestions on install, let me know.

Be sure to double check once you mount them that they are sitting level. Mine are slightly tilted inward so the light hits higher on the outside causing some annoyance to oncoming traffic.

The only downside with using the covers is that you have to install the covers BEFORE you mount them to the adapter brackets. So you cant really remove them unless you want to unscrew everything.

Also, the inner edge of the factory fog plastic had to be shaved down a little to allow adjustment with the amber covers on. The covers add about 1/4" to the face of the lights, causing it to interfere with the plastic shroud. Pretty easy fix, just added another step to the install.

For some reason I am only seeing the D2 and DOT/SAE kits for the 4R. Can you provide a link for the Dually kit. I am looking for the highest light output that will fit in the OEM foglight area.
