Rigid SR Series Light Covers

My last set of Rigids came in the mail today! :banana:

I've done my fair share of searching...and I am pretttyyyy sure that these don't have covers available.

Anyone make their own or anything?

Technically it's illegal in MD to drive with uncovered aux lights mounted that high (roof rack). I'm not really worried about that, but if a good cover were out there - I would probably pick it up just to stay safe and keep my lights safe as well.

All I have to add to this thread is the following:

1. My SRs will be here tomorrow (thanks, Ducmonsta!)! :trophy:
2. You couldn't pay me to live in Maryland.

On a serious note, I don't believe they make covers for the SR's. Only the DR's. I haven't been hassled for mine... yet.... and I live in California where EVERYTHING is a no no.

Awesome! You will love them, I have a bunch just sitting at home waiting for my rack to come in. Just hooking up a 6" will blow your mind. When I tried my 20" I was 90% sure that I could send morse code messages to the space station with it.

And hey MD isn't that bad! And you aren't too far away....

Not quite the ascetically pleasing option I was looking for :cool:
But that is good to hear. I haven't heard of anyone getting badgered for uncovered lights here, but there is always the chance that you will as a secondary notice.

Maybe I will try and make my own.
 
Dealing with Rigid directly, I have heard of rumors of covers. But I didn't expect them to release the flush mount minis and duallys. So, I have no idea when they'll release covers for our SRs. I'll post something up as soon as I hear something.

^^x2 on that....Rigid told me they where in the works for making SR covers but that was 4 months ago.
