Rigid SRQ2 Flood ideas

Looked through some of the pictures and threads.. Couldn't find many ideas.

I have a set of Rigid SRQ2s (Floods) that I had for my old truck. Now that the truck is gone and I have the Trail, wondering where I should install.

1. Had a set of camping/backup lights on my Tacoma. Not sure if there are any easy mounting locations on the 4R.
2. Have the extended Front Runner roof rack. I could place at the corners to use as ditch lights.
3. Looked at the CBI hood mounts but se that you need to trim/cut the plastic by the hood.


Any other ideas on where to place these...

Not looking to cut stuff up quite as yet... a whole whopping 16 days old...

Was thinking of the rack, but that is a heck of a lot of wire to pull from the A-pillar to the rear and back up to the front... Clean, but a lot of wire... lol..

Was also thinking on the sides of the rack for camping lights, but maybe not for these floods.. maybe a diffused would be better...

Anyone else make hood (ditch) mounts that you don't have to do any trimming???

You don't really have to cut with the CBI brackets, I used a heat gun to warm it up then shut the hood. It took two times and made it fit fine, it's just slightly deformed for them to fit. Really pretty easy stuff and if you ever wanted to go back to stock I don't see any issue as it's a small amount of space you create. I would go that route honestly. (I am only using one as a cb antenna mount myself)

You could also put them on either side of the grill badge if they fit there.

I looked back there are wondered about those bolts. I May definitely use that as a backup solution. I had the SRQ backup lights on my Tacoma using some sock holes.

I may definitely need to pick up some SRQs diffused for that location, but SRQ2 fogs would be totally overkill for some backup/camping lights..

Fender liners. I did lift and tires before taking delivery.

There is a metal cross brace right there.
