Well I THOUGHT I knew what I was going to build, but now with these new ideas you guys have thrown at me.. I just dont know anymore.

I have an off topic question. I have basically the same setup even the same color truck.

I have 2002,Black supercharger, URD 7th inj, and pulley. My problem is if I floor it when cruising the truck downshifts and the brakes up real bad hesitates and then accelerates. Have you had any similar problems?

Which style tensioner do you have? I would wager to say you have belt slippage. Do you have the idler pulley like I do or the dynamic tensioner?

I have experienced some belt slippage in the circumstances you mention. Suddenly stepping on the gas, hard. When this happens, the engine losses a ton of power and barely keeps going. You need to let off the gas then go back into it a little lighter.

They dynamic tensioner is supposed to really reduce the frequency of this happening and its on my list..

I have the dynamic tensioner but I have been thinking about replacing it because I have a squealing noise when cold and I think that is where it is coming from.

When it downshifts it is more than a power loss you can hear an audible popping sound like detonation (which it might be).

Are you running the plugs that came with the URD 7th kit? Did you properly install the IAC controller computer?


If yes to both, then sounds like you need to get it tuned.

where you think a new bee can start from rather than doing maintenance that's easy where should I start upgrading from. I got any Idea with installing interior LED lights. i don't know the process but, that's why i'm here where did you guys start with
