Road Trip!

School is almost done for a few weeks so I have a short road trip planned. This will be the 3rd time making this drive but the first time alone and the first time in the Silver Fox. The most western route will be my trip up and the eastern route the way back. I plan on leaving California on Thursday the 16th and getting to Anchorage on that Monday or Tuesday. Pictures to come!

Same here. I'm just outside Seattle. Be careful! People in Seattle don't know how to drive. I moved here 5 months ago and I've already had two incidents because of other people.

It has been real nice here in Anchorage. Hope it will stay that way for your trip. I have family coming up at the end of June so I am hoping it will be nice for them also. Fish will be in so bring your gear.

You need to check out some of the jeep trails in Greenwater by Enumclaw. Stop by Mt. Rainier too. Skip Seattle.

I am headed up to Lake Creek to fly fish for for a few days at the end of the month, I'll probably head down to Cooper Landing to do a little fishing there too.

You need to check out some of the jeep trails in Greenwater by Enumclaw. Stop by Mt. Rainier too. Skip Seattle.

I grew up in the Claw so I am very familiar with some the trails on the way up to Crystal!

So it took my 36 hours of hard driving to get from Seattle to Anchorage but I made it! Awesome drive, the only hiccup was getting pulled over for doing 135kph in a 70kph zone. Roughly translated I was doing about 85 in a 40.... The cop told me it was a $600 ticket AND impound for 7 days. He let me off with a warning :yo:
