We do have a great time. Granted most of us are running 3rd gens. We are pushing 100,000-250,000 miles on each of these rigs. Sure some of us have broken CVs and suspension links but not much else. Also we pride ourselves with keeping our rigs clean and damage free. We may have a little rock rash but nothing major (hopefully it will stay that way). These are NOT trail only rigs. Most of us put some long trips on them without thinking twice. I personally drive back east once or twice a year. We ALL drive to and back from Moab, nothing is trailered.

We have built up our skills from easier trails to some of the top ten trails.

We have had some friends running their 5th gens with us on some more moderate trails.

We also have done some expedition runs like 120+ miles offroad on the Kokopelli Trail.

Enjoy what ever level wheeling you are comfortable doing.

Hi Gerdo,

Your trucks look great out there; would like to have seen yours as well.
I'm more like a..."sit out on the side lines, and stay out of the way"...kinda guy, (LOL)!

My 4Runner is more of a glorifide "Bait Car", a show piece if you will; but it shines real good!! I really enjoy the way it handles "On-Road", particularly at higher speeds on the inter-state, and anytime that I can manipulate or exploit it's great maneuverability around curves.

There's just something about the VSC and A-trac, along with it's X-REAS suspension, that just does it for me.

But being a "Building controls/Large equipment technician" (Comm'l H.V.A.C), I can still appreciate all that goes into the modification work and build projects that some of you guys do around here.

So please...keep on building, and sharing your passion with the rest of us here on these forums; I really appreciate it.
