Rock slider painting / coating

So I got my rock sliders, and since they are bare metal, I need to put some kind of paint or coating on them. I was thinking of powder coating them, but I do not know if this is a bad move if they get scraped and I need to reapply the coating.

Rust-oleum high performance enamel spray paint or POR-15 (you'll need the metal prep for new metal)

Make sure you do a good job cleaning and degreasing before painting

If you want durable finish - powder coat is the only way to go on round parts such as sliders.

I would do powder coating and then if they get scraped, touch up with spray paint. NO coating will hold up to a slider being used as a slider, what you are trying to do is prevent rust from the general wear and tear, doors hitting them, shoes on them, blasted with road debris. In my experience PC has lasted far better then rattle can bed liner but even PC is showing problems after a couple years. I am likely going to try Line X next
