Rocksteady Motorsports MIA?

Anyone know if Rocksteady Motorsports is still in business? Ordered an aluminum filler plate to go between my RCI skids and front bumper. That was last month. Their email is no longer functional. No return call from phone number. I fear these guys are done and I will be initiating a charge back.

That would really suck. I have a full set of skids I got from them in January. They're great. Not sure if they are still around though...

That has been the same as my experience. Well over a month to ship and no communication after I sent two emails asking for updates.

In December I emailed them, and got responses on sending replacement hardware for the spacer I lost. Then they stopped responding, then a month later a package showed up with some mismatch bolts, no spacers... no more responses still. My skids are great and they worked with me to get a filler plate that fit correctly after the initial launch sale when they only had 03-05 style but I haven't seen or heard much about them since then over a year ago. I'd initiate the credit card process.

From what it sounds like, this type of business behavior is not the first for Rocksteady. PayPal is now aware... and I finally heard back. If no tracking today will proceed with dispute and charge back. Which is a bigger pain in the ass for the vendor, (PayPal account frozen), than for me. Oh well.

Understandable. Those pains are about to get compounded on a $75 screw up. I have nothing against them and happy to dismiss the dispute should they follow through.

Josh at Rocksteady came through. He apologized and sent lower link skids free of charge for the inconvenience. Not expected, and much appreciated.

Recent Orders?

Anyone ordered anything from them recently? I just put in an order for the window washer for my 4th gen. After coming across this tread, I am now a little uneasy.

How do you like the Rocksteady filler plate with the RCI skid plate? Does it fit together well?

Placed an order back in end of August and heard nothing 2 weeks later. Tried to call but no answer. There email address is dead, as in getting email bounce back.

Filed PayPal dispute and got my money back.

I’d pass on ordering from these guys until they get their act together or close down the website since they aren’t super concerned on delivering on what’s purchased, nor maintaining any sort of communication.
