So here is my 1998 SR5 3.4 Automatic. At time of purchase it had 130,346 and paid roughly $5,000. CarFax has a clean history out of Wisconsin most of it`s life. Working on getting the details of service history but the truck was a corporate owned vehicle.

.
Now I have already added a set of 10 watt Snake Eye lights to the front bumper from Tow Truck LEDS. Behind the front bumper is a Galls 100w siren speaker. Headlight bulbs replaced with Sylvania SilverStar zXe.
.
In the Front windshield I have a Whelen Avenger warning light. Of course had to put a remote start in and decided to go with Prestige. In the rear I also have two more Whelen lights and a MicroMan Industries directional light at the bottom of the rear window.
.
One of the first things I did when I got my SR5 was to replace the HU and get my Motorola radio in. I also decided this would be a good spot for my UG. Also threw in my two 12 inch Sony Explodes with a 2000w Rockford Fosgate amp.

I still haven`t been able to figure out obviously a way to `mount` Motorola radio yet, hence my ghetto fab install for now. The radio goes too far back to screw in the bracket. The HU fit like a glove. No kit needed. That`s actually how I found this site was trying to figure out what the silver box (amp) was.
.
At the same time I mounted my Streamlight C4 flashlight on the hump and the Arrowstik controller by the 4x4 shifter.

Approx. middle of Dec. I get a CEL for my O2. so while the truck was up in the air I had the 99 springs I purchased from another member put on.

The screws were round!

Here are the old springs......

Since then I`ve gained almost 2 MPGs. I finally got enough time and boss let me use the shop to take the running boards off. Took me almost 5 hours with a cheap ratchet, wrench and Snap-On 18.5 Volt impact gun.

Since I was in there I also added a couple more warning lights to the grill.

Awesome start, Ronin! I like your build, you're off to a good base and you can only go up... I too have a '98 SR5 - looks like you have different flares though, I have the "skinny" thin flares.

Five hours on the running boards? wow, you must have some serious rust?

I'd like to see a video or at least some pictures of all those extra lights in action! Also, how are the Sylvanias compared to the stock bulbs. Are they the same color?

Keep it up! :)

Thanks Jon! When off, blue! You can easily see a lot of blue from the bulb if that makes sense. When they are on, they are very nice, bright and white!
.
Here`s the video of the front of the truck

Yeah that rust was a little brutal. I even soaked them with some PB for about 20 mins before starting.

That's a pretty sick setup! When can you legally use the lights? Not on the highway, I presume? Do you have a permit?

I work for a private security company and at times I use my vehicle hence the green. I also work towing & recovery and Emergency management so there are a few different reasons for the lights and why I have different colors on different switches. The only time I`ve used the lights on a public roadway and that was during rush hour (dead stop) on the highway to get to the exit to the firehouse. Other than that, I am actually very well behaved with them! :p

So I finally have or will have new stuff to add. Have coming soon my Tundra brakes, 17 inch Sequoia rims and ToyTec adjustable coilovers. All from members on this board. Have sitting in my locker at work is my OME rear kit (also from a member on here). Now all I need is some rubber for the rims I'm getting. Looking for suggestions on tire sizes to get.

It's been a while but I've had the lift put on. 3" in the rear and 2" in the front. Upgraded to the Tundra brakes, put the Sequoia rims on and have been loving it! Besides finishing doing the LEDs and bumpers, I'm close to where I want my 4Runner to be! Finally got rid of those nasty Toyota fogs and put the LEDs that I bought in a group buy off here. Haven't had a single issue with it!! Oh and wanna do the ISR mod also......
