So here is my 1998 SR5 3.4 Automatic. At time of purchase it had 130,346 and paid roughly $5,000. CarFax has a clean history out of Wisconsin most of it`s life. Working on getting the details of service history but the truck was a corporate owned vehicle.
.
Now I have already added a set of 10 watt Snake Eye lights to the front bumper from Tow Truck LEDS. Behind the front bumper is a Galls 100w siren speaker. Headlight bulbs replaced with Sylvania SilverStar zXe.
.
In the Front windshield I have a Whelen Avenger warning light. Of course had to put a remote start in and decided to go with Prestige. In the rear I also have two more Whelen lights and a MicroMan Industries directional light at the bottom of the rear window.
.
One of the first things I did when I got my SR5 was to replace the HU and get my Motorola radio in. I also decided this would be a good spot for my UG. Also threw in my two 12 inch Sony Explodes with a 2000w Rockford Fosgate amp.
I still haven`t been able to figure out obviously a way to `mount` Motorola radio yet, hence my ghetto fab install for now. The radio goes too far back to screw in the bracket. The HU fit like a glove. No kit needed. That`s actually how I found this site was trying to figure out what the silver box (amp) was.
.
At the same time I mounted my Streamlight C4 flashlight on the hump and the Arrowstik controller by the 4x4 shifter.
.
Approx. middle of Dec. I get a CEL for my O2. so while the truck was up in the air I had the 99 springs I purchased from another member put on.
The screws were round!
The 99 springs put on.....
Here are the old springs......
Since then I`ve gained almost 2 MPGs. I finally got enough time and boss let me use the shop to take the running boards off. Took me almost 5 hours with a cheap ratchet, wrench and Snap-On 18.5 Volt impact gun.
Since I was in there I also added a couple more warning lights to the grill.
The damage was on there when I bought it.
