Little late to the party but just came across this thread. I have one of our Princeton Full Length racks on my truck and its been killer. Obviously I am a little biased being that I work at Sherpa Equipment Co. We manufacture rack systems from aluminum and extrusion like many others, but we have worked hard to improve upon whats already on the market.
I see some of you talking about the bow and sag that the Prinsu racks have. That's one of the things we worked to solve on ours back when we designed them. It's also why we use 1/4" 6061 aluminum for all of our rack sides when the competitors use around half that. So far I have had up to close to 800lbs on my rack without any sagging issues. Also our racks make about the same amount of noise as the factory roof rails.
