roof rack track spacing distance

Can someone do me a huge favor and measure the distance between the centers of the the roof rack tracks? Trying to design a flushmount for a Thule MOAB roof rack. Also, if anyone knows the thread pitch/size of the track inserts as well, that would be great. If it works out, i'll post a writeup. TIA

Actually I just measured mine tonight for the same reason. The tracks are 37.5" on center with outside of the tracks being 39.25 inches.

The track is 46" long and it looks like you can squeeze in approx 60" of overall length between the rear spoiler and sunroof.

I found a rack at discountramps.com that is 39" wide overall and can be made 62" long with an extension. Best of all it's only 130 shipped. I figured it worth a shot.

How about removing the two big crossbars. Do you have to take the endcaps off and slide them out of the front of the track???

ryani yes you need to remove the end caps either front or back to slide the crossbars out.

Take your time they break easily don't overexert too much pressure all at once, a large flat tip screwdriver can help with leverage pretty sure there is an allen head screw to remove first.

Thanks for the info. I just quick looked at it last night when I was in the garage. It was too cold to try and figure it out.
