Roof Rack vs Sunroof wind noise ?

Hi All,
I had a 2013 with a sunroof and the factory roof rack and crossbars, now my 2015 with the factory roof rack without the crossbars. And the wind Buffering is very bad and it was nonexistent in my 2013 . the only thing I can think is maybe the crossbars missing on my 2015 could be causing this does anybody think that's possible ?

I have a bit of rattling that is noticeable with the glass closed and the shade open. If I crack the glass a bit or vent then it goes away. I am thinking that it is rattling from the deflector that pops up when the glass opens. I have put some dynamat on the inside of thr roof (above the light and overhead console) and even put some thinker felt where the deflector contacts the roof, but none of those have worked. Next is to take a small strip of dynamat and put it on the underside of the deflector itself. Just looked to see how I can take that thing off, so I can apply the dynamat nicely.

Not sure what else to try.
