Dude,

Nice work man. Question? How is the glare in the truck when they are going?

Blue

Hope all is well bud.

Sup man! Well, I can't say too much because I have a flood pattern bar, so there is a little glare and I actually haven't "upgraded" to the new mounts I'm selling which kick the lightbar out in front of the windshield. My bar sits directly above the roof. Glare is not bad though, and it's not annoying. I really don't even notice it when we are cruising through the woods. My buddies love it, they request I turn the lightbar on when I'm behind them on the trail. I haven't had any issues.

Edit: sorry I kind of read this question wrong. There is no glare in the truck whatsoever or on the windshield. I was speaking for glare on the hood, which is not obstructive whatsoever.

Rob, we need to get together and fab up a set for the 4th gens. I want to get a 40" bar my self but I'm in the same boat as you as far as no one making a mount for the 4runners. Definitely a market for them

Perfect! I was actually planning on stopping by today. I'll see you in a little bit and we can talk about it.

make it work with a 42"? Im in sac and could come pic one up if that helps

Yeah it should work fine. Can you measure your lightbar eye to eye and let me know what the number is? I'm sure it's the same, some companies advertise a 40", 41.5", and 42" and they all measure within an inch.

You can come pick them up if you want, just lemme know!

I don't have one yet. Was just looking at 42" bars on eBay. One of the cheapos

Oh I gotcha, yeah they should all be the same. Get whatever bar you want and I'll make it work. I don't think there will be any issues whatsoever. It's really just a matter of me welding the top piece on 1/4" farther out than I usually do. It's no problem.
