Rosen Sun Visors for a 3rd Gen?

I've been looking at the Rosen sun visors as a possible replacement for the ones that are pretty worn out on my '99 Limited; does anyone have any experience with them? I know ICON uses the brand for their builds (what initially caught my interest since I'm a fan of the company), but the best I've been able to find online is this: https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/pdf/insight4pg.pdf that gives the part # for 2006+ 4Runners. Anyone know if this is workable, possibly with an adapter plate?

Updating here to note that I was able to drive to the dealership and compare the 1999 sun visor mounting plates against a 2015 model and they appear to be the same size or very close (albeit rotated 90 degrees, but that shouldn't be a problem).

I'd be interested in this too. I installed Lexus visors with Homelink but they sat a bit lower that I'd like so I just removed the driver's side all together. This would be perfect.

Not sure if anyone is still looking to replace their 3rd gen visors, but I wanted to get a driver side visor with a mirror since mine didn't come with one. Didn't want to pay a crazy amount for a new one, so i went to the junk yard and found out that the 2nd gen Lexus GS visors fit perfect for the 3rd gen 4runners. I needed tan ones, and found a tan interior 2000 GS300. Total cost was $9 for both visors...fit great and color matches nicely.

Update to original post (3/22/21)....

I e-mailed Rosen directly to confirm fitment for the 1999 4Runner and Suzanne responded with the following:

"Yes, these replacement visors will fit your 4Runner. We have a slotted mounting bracket with hole spacing range of 1.25”-2”. You can measure yours and confirm. They are usually 1.5”.
Part Number 7S10075-0 is $285.00 for the full set and includes the installation instructions, 3 year warranty and hardware. You can call us or email us your info to order. We need your Full name, shipping address, shipping carrier preference (USPS, UPS, FedEx) and credit card number for payment, form attached. Thank you!"

These same sun visors are listed on the Icon 4x4 website for $420.00, so quite the savings by ordering directly from Rosen. I went ahead and placed an order and will update this thread with pictures when I get them installed. Received the sun visors I ordered today so here are a few pictures of the unboxing, size comparison to stock units, and before and after shots (driver side after shot shows visor flipped forward, passenger side after shot shows visor flipped towards seat). Adjustments are made via a series of screws that you adjust and then set with enough tension to allow you to move them but not have them move on their own. Excellent clarity when looking through them (which you'd expect since they're made for planes). They do sit a little lower and closer than the stock units but that doesn't bother me. They have a flip function, tilt function, angle adjustment, and an extension function to let you really position them where you want them. Overall pretty pleased with these and they seem to be high quality, but they are certainly not cheap.

Nice design, but it looks like they might hang down into the driver's field of view. Obviously it would depend on how high the driver's head sits.
My problem with the stock visors is that they resist being set at intermediate setting; they want to be either all the way up or all the way deployed down, as if they are spring loaded.

They're just at the sightline for me (I'm 6' tall) but don't seem to be a problem. I also have my seat set fairly high so I could always lower it a bit. If you were any taller this would probably be an issue though. Doesn't bother me since I'm also into Miatas and by comparison there's still so much room for activities. :banana:
